Here is a link to a thread I did in March of last year. The pertinent line is the first one. Got 57% of window sticker after 6+ tears, paid less than 40k for it, no mods except bed mat and cover. X-Plan minus rebates.

Truck #1 is a 2010 Lariat SuperCab 4x4, 5.4L, moderately loaded.
Sticker price in Sept. 2009 was $43165. Sold in March 2016 for $24,500, with 42k miles on it.

This is easy. Want to sell it quickly? Put new tires on, or wait for the right buyer, not put tires on, and get your asking price.
You will not get more for the truck with new tires, but you will get it sold sooner with less haggling

Sell it as is. Let the buyer do what they want.

Just goes to show, everyone wants something different. Though, surely most can see the value in spending $100-$200 on a good inside and out detail. Even old tires look good with some spit and shine to them.

I wouldn't have it detailed either. The cab is small. Takes not even an hour to clean up the interior.
Save detailing for things like SUVs and minivans that have triple the amount of space, cup holders, nooks and crannies, etc. Now for trading to a dealer, that just makes no sense since they don't care at all/will clean it themselves anyway. That is the equivalent of cleaning up your rental before you turn it in.
