Sold two. None issues. Also sold hundreds of other items. Never meet at your house, find a Craigslist Safe Zone.

Sold a Macbook for $1,400 once. Public place. Happened to be when the new colorful $100 bills came out. Had to go in a grocery store to verify it was real lol

Sold a 2000$ van and bought my F150 from CL. No problems with the transactions. Be prepared for lots of scam texts and low ball text offers on a for sale vehicle.

Ive had many great experiences, buying selling and trading. Bought a grand am from a coworker...traded to a chevy truck...traded to a ford truck, and sold the ford to the neighbor. Bought a 96 stang gt vert and 49 chevy truck did that picker style went for the gt and bought both...lol. Traded the gt for a 81 chev bbc drag truck CL...sold the 49 CL. Traded the 81 for a 02 landrover from some sketchy ones and got a bonus...a needle in the 6 disk changer CL.....Sold the rover...CL, bought a 04 f250 diesel off CL needed a motor imagine that, traded the 04 for a 03 150 crew under 100k and cash my way......a old snowmobile for 2 rifles...CL...a yz 250wr for a nice stihl chain saw and cash......Theres many more I could mention but I rambled on enough. So over all Ive had many wonderful times on CL, one more a 69 stang vert bought 9k, drove, minor clean up over a year and sold for 14k. If your careful and know whats going on it can be a blast.

Bought a 96 F150 off Craigslist, and sold some OEM Fx 20s. Both transactions went perfectly.

I was armed to the teeth for both just in case though, lol

Lol, great idea. Sold 2003 Expy, 1 day, 2010 Lariat, 2 days+ the weekend for their Credit Union, a utility trailer, my Rhino, a roto-tiller. Holy crap, there is a lot more smaller stuff., when I think back.
But you do have to be careful when dealing with strangers, like having your wife in the background (packing), taking some pics of their car, and letting them know you did, etc.

After we made the deal on the Lariat, the young couple asked if I was concerned with dealing with strangers, just curious. So I pulled my .380 out of my cargo pants pocket.

They laughed, and said "oh".
