Hi everyone. Even with 193k miles my front leather seat cushions are still in pretty good shape, but the driver side is beginning to have noticeable cracking along the left side which is usually a forerunner to failure and I would like to be proactive and avoid that. Both left and right seats are electrically operated so wiring should not (hopefully) be a problem. If I can swap the cushions then the cracking on the (current) drivers seat won't show and all should be good. If they aren't too difficult to remove (just the cushions) then it would definitely be worth the effort to give it a try. Has anyone out there actually made the swap successfully? If not, what happened that prevented success?
