Default SCT Tuner questions

I bought a used tuner from a member and after reading the instructions I still have some questions.

1. Does the tuner show me which tune is loaded in the ECM?

2. If I want to make adjustments to the user selectable parameters after the tune is loaded, how do I do this?

3. Can I switch tunes without going back to stock tune each time?

4. Is there anyway to find out what strategy code the custom tune on the tuner was wrote for?

5. Will the tuner remember the adjustments I have made to a tune when I unload it, or does it defualt back to the original settings?

I've read the instructions twice and didn't see any information about these questions.

1. Does the tuner show me which tune is loaded in the ECM? Assuming you are using preloaded tunes, it will default to the 87 octane tune automatically unless you select the 91/93 octane tunes

2. If I want to make adjustments to the user selectable parameters after the tune is loaded, how do I do this? = User Adjustable Options

3. Can I switch tunes without going back to stock tune each time? = Yes

4. Is there anyway to find out what strategy code the custom tune on the tuner was wrote for? = You dont want to use somebody elses custom tune. Code 99% of the time wont match and you dont know what type of tune, what mods it was written for, ect ect. If going going custom tune route, just get your own custom tune. I recommend MPT for that.

5. Will the tuner remember the adjustments I have made to a tune when I unload it, or does it defualt back to the original settings? It should yes. It will ask if you want to upload prior saved changes or not.

See above.

I was wondering the same thing. Only after did I realize the answers were added in your sentence structure with the same color type. Confusing indeed.

Ok, one more question. When changing TPMS settings, are you picking the nominal setting which allows a percentage of change, or minimum setting before light is turned on?
