Default Running boards

I bought this truck a little over a month ago and can't decide if I want the running boards off or on. I think it might look more sporty without them but once they are off I don't think they can be put back on. What's your opinions?

of course they can be put back on. I think they look better on, plus they offer protection from rocks and snow and ice and salt being thrown up from the tires. Plus door ding protection from small cars if you park next to them, lol!

Hell Id look for a new one. Those gray ones always fade and look nasty.

Keep 'em on. Adds to a sporty look. (mine are painted red to match the truck on the XLT)

PLUS, i use them for what they're made for.... I just step up and on into my truck...

I like the leveled, clean look (especially of the Platinum). But I have to have them for my short wife and child. If I could afford them, I would get the retractable ones.
