Have 2002 KR and changing running boards to nerf bars. Need suggestions for what to do with courtesy lights in boards.

That's a roll of the waterproof led strip lights. You can get them off ebay. I won an auction and payed $5 for a 16' roll, which is more than enough. I tapped them into the dome light wire in the kick panel, so they come on when I unlock my doors, open a door, our turn the cargo light ****. They fade to off like the dome lights do when you close the door.
