Default Running board installation

So, I just got a set of new running boards at a good price.they come with all the mounting hardware. Problem is, I've never done it before. Seems straight forward, but just thought I would see if anyone had any tips. Both boards(oem) and vehicle( 2015 f150 lariat) are 2015. Anyone have a set of instructions or knowledge? Thanks in advance.

This isn't a 2015, but they mount the same way.

Thanks man. I couldn't find any 15 vids. Good to know they're the same.

I've installed running boards just last week on a 2015 crew cab at work. There are threaded studs welded to the underside of the truck so all you have to do is align the studs with the hole on the mounting bracket and tighten a nut on it. Piece of cake

Most are no drill installs. Bolts are already under the rocker panel. Just line them up and bolt them on.

Oh wow. Nice. I haven't even looked at the rocker panels yet. That's good news. Thanks for your help boss.

If you have a pair of jack stands, it'll help the install to prop up what ever end your not currently bolting on, makes it easier to align the holes.

Indeed. Holding it up perfectly can be a pain. My AMPS like to keep jumping off the jack stands.

Even on my Silverado, all the holes and bolts aligned up properly. Easy install.
I got the WESTIN brand. I've always had good luck with those.

Line 'em up and tighten them down! A floor jack or stand can be helpful in keeping it level for install.
