In case these aren't available by the time I can get them, is there a good reputable place to buy OEM running boards other than from Ford? I've searched on ebay and all over the web but the running boards that I see offered as OEM do not look like mine so I am a bit skeptical.

They should. There was no body change between 2015 and 2016. I know the running board on a 2005 F150 Super Cab will fit a 2014 F150 Super Cab. I know this because the dealer took the running boards off my 2005 F150 trade in and put them on the new 2014 F150 that I got.
