Default Rubbing or Shaking... Advice please

Hey guys I'm a new to the forum, love it so far!

Anyway, I got a 06 FX4 . I put on a 4.5 inch Rough Country suspension lift myself and now I'm stuck with some issues. My front tires were rubbing on the CV axle, so for a quick fix I brought spacers (1.5inch) for the wheels and it fixed the rubbing. However, now my steering is shaking significantly between 50-65 mph.

How can i fix the shaking? and or prevent having to buy new wheels with backspacing?

Thanks guys

I would have the tire balance rechecked.

How in the hell can your tires possibly rub on the CV axle? That just doesn't make any sense.

I would take it in for an alignment if I were you. If there is a problem...let them diagnose it...and you fix it!

yeah no way a tire can hit the cv axle, must have meant the spindle. but anyways make sure all the spacers are tight and then have the tires rebalanced
