You can check your shocks & struts. If there is evidence of leaking, they're no good. If you want a softer ride, you need something other than a truck.

I agree 1K%, My new '13 FX4 with 764miles on it rides like a lumber wagon. I knew it would ride like crap B4 I bought it but man, you would think Ford and Chevy would put a little more thought into suspension. I mean, go over a little washboard while cornering, and- HANG-ON!!!! you are goin' for a ride! Also, WTF is with the jiggling over cracks in the pavement? No wonder these trucks "loosen up" so quickly- an A1A main battle tank couldn't stand up to this much pounding. Yes, I could add 500lbs to the box and "solve" my problem, but that would REALLY kill what little MPGs I get now. To answer your obvious question- I needed a vehicle and this F150 is the least objectionable(overall) of the options out there at the moment. Here was my problem: I had a Ridgeline(loved it), but it got old , was under powered and they quit making them- which means the residual value is gonna drop like a rock. I had horrible experiances in the past with GM, Dodge, and toyota. I only buy new, so what does that leave? If Honda ever puts a v8 in a full sized truck, you know where I'll be!

are the coppers e rated? that could be part of it. you could get new ranchos and they have adjustable dampening. mine doesn't ride rough but that maybe a subjective thing that i'm ok with and it bothers other people more

Leveling kit will stiffen up the front, and aggressive MT's add a lot of unsprung weight. Price you gotta pay to look good. lol
