I have a 2018 Ford F-150 3.5 echoboost and just had a fuel system clean done on it due to a rough idle. Still wants to drop to low rpm and shakes trying to stay running. Check engine light come on and give code P001 VVT solenoid and check engine light went off after a day. Any ideas?

 

With the little information you provided, I would check for any codes, fuel trims and fuel pressure. Make sure the ignition system is in good shape.

 

I have a similar issue with my 2020 3.5 eco it will idle fine then drop rough and then back to normal. And it gave me a code P0304. Says cylinder 4 misfire. I checked spark plug and they are good. I’m on to the next but I want to see if someone else has had this issue and if they did. What did they do..

 

The shop said all pressures were good and they checked ignition system too. And it was a Ford dealer i really trust.
