Default Rotors and pads

I recently bought a 2006 Ford F150 SuperCrew. It is lifted 8" and riding on Toyo Open Country AT 325/60 R20 tires. The rotor are glazed and the pads look a little wore. I thinking about replacing the rotor and pads but don't know if I should buy the expensive rotors or just buy the OEM parts.

That's not an extremely big tire for a 8". Drilled and slotted rotors are by far worth the cash and will definitely help stop those 35's a bit more effectively. When it comes to aftermarket parts, OEM is usually the same price as premium aftermarket prices. Think about this too, OE rotors are made to stop 31's, so it will be a bit harder on the brakes with OEM rotors and pads.

If you replace them do it at FORD. They are more money but will last longer do not do after market because the will last 30,000 miles then the truck will shake when you a braking.

I'm lucky to get 30K miles out of my OEM rotors before I need to recut them.

If your going with stock style, OEM is what you want for rotors. If your upgrading, drilled and slotted from like EBC aren't a whole lot more than Motorcraft. I'm looking at nearly $250 just for my front rotors since my wheel bearings are integrated...the rear will cost less than $150. That either going with EBC or Motorcraft.
