Roll-on bed liner
I did a herculiner on my old jeep floor boards. Its alot of prep work and very time consuming to do it right. If your not too concerned about the truck bed looking "perfect" then this stuff is great. Leave yourself a saturday or sunday to do this though. Ive always been big on doing stuff yourself to save that dollar. If your going to use your truck for what its meant for then you shouldnt care if some of the bedliner begins to fade. My jeep floor boards are still bright and holding up strong!!!
I wouldnt put Hurculiner, or any DIY liner, on a newish truck that I cared about. The DIY liners just arent as thick or durable as the professional liners.
I put Herculiner in my Jeep cab. It held up great and looked decent but a Jeep cab isnt a truck bed and the Jeep was a bit of a beater. I just wanted something to keep water/mud away from the metal floorboards, the Herc worked very well for that. I also put Herc on the deck of my motorcycle trailer for added traction when loading the bikes, again, it works well for that. I do occasionally use the trailer for runs to the dump and that does scar up the Herc if Im not careful. The nice thing about Hurc is that its easily repairable, some liners arent.
Nothing against Herc, but it is what it is, a cheap, thin, rubberized bed liner.
