roll on bed coating with spray guy??

Default roll on bed coating with spray guy??

ok just got a 06 with a 5.5 bed and want to do a roll on bed liner. but i want to do it with a spray gun(if possible). i have a old paint gun, but want to know if its possible or is there a better kind of sprayer? any help would be great

I done a couple 'do it your self' bed liners...if you buy the spray cans...it goes on very thin....with a quart or gallon....you can use a trim roller and brush and lay it on thick. My knowledge of spraying, I'd think you'd need to thin the quart down a lot to spray it on.

The fluid tip on a spray gun is way too small to spray bed liner though. You'll need an under coat gun or something similar.

Problem is besides the gun tip...roll on liner is made to be rolled on... not sprayed on. The kit mentioned above would be your best choice or line-X
