Default Rock Auto Rocks

so friday i was gonna do my brakes because of a vibration but when i got down there i decided to grab the tie-rods and yup they moved freely. on top of that the pads were recently done by the previous owner. so i went shopping for tie-rods and holy crap the part stores want anywhere from 40 to 60 for just one outer. So i decided to try out a website that has been recommended at another forum i visit and i got to say rockauto.com ROCKS.

not only did i get all 4 tie-rods but i also got an upper and a lower ball joint for $110. i ordered them 2pm friday and they were waiting on my doorstep when i got home from a 6 hour trip today(tuesday).

on top of that i bought RAYBESTOS and they look so beefy that they want to take the old tie-rods out back and beat the ever living daylights out of them.

good parts
great price
superb turn around time

i am a happy camper

Yep, I love rock auto, I use them frequently. You can buy genuine OEM parts for much cheaper than the dealer and if you search google first you can find discount codes to get a discount as well.

Default Good Parts Source:

I've had good results trading with RockAuto....picked up brake rotors and ceramic pads for my Lincoln TC at a wholesaler's close out. Savings for quality parts was about 75%. Picked up a MLP sensor for the same car, OEM price of $140, manufacturer's close-out, AC/DELCO, $26.

Yeah, I like that you can buy OEM manufacturer parts. I just got Motorcraft spark plugs for my 05 for $9.50 a plug from RA, local dealer wanted over $20 a plug for the same part #. Just the other day I ordered a Motorcraft part # thermostat housing for my ranger from RA for $32, Autozone wanted $157 for the same part but in some no name brand. It really pays to shop around sometimes.
