Default Rims Pitting. Help!

So I just moved back up north after being in Texas for five years, which is where I purchased my current rims and tires. I have 18" helo maxx 6 rims. They are polished billet (I think).

Well this winter was very rough on my rims because they use salt on the roads up here. It looks like the center of my rims started to pitting over this winter. I tried my best clean the rims throughout the winter, but it sucks cleaning your rims outside in below 30 degree weather. Is there any way to fix that?

I've tried polishing them multiple times and nothing has worked. I even got my truck professionally washed and detailed about two weeks ago hoping that they would be able to do something and when I looked at the rims, the pits (if that's what they even are) were still visible. The outer part of the rims still look brand new it's just the center of them. Is there anything I can do?

Get your hands on a Powerball Polisher and some Chrome wheel wax and get busy.

FLUID FILM will keep them from pitting. It will also polish them up nicely. If anyone would like to try a sample who hasn't heard of it and lives in the US, just PM me.

Powerball Polisher doesn't really work for my rims. There are to many awkward spaces. I can polish them better with Terry Towels. And now that they are already pitting, is there anything I can do to fix that? They won't pit anymore now that it's not snowing anymore therefore there is no salt on the roads anymore.

chrome or polish aluminium will always deteriorate in salt.
only solution: remove your high $$ wheel and put steelies.

pitted chrome: you can try to polish them..but most likely..won't change anything.
polish al: repolish it with a polisher not only by hand.
