I have rhino lining in mine and I know a few others that have it and personally I think it sucks... it's always flaking and coming loose... if you can find line x it holds up 10 x better

I've got Rhino, but no pic, sorry. Anyway, I haven't had any problems with it, but I did notice that my buddy's Line X just looked nicer to me. All things being equal, I'll take better looking.

I had my 03 F250 Rhino Lined when I got it. Back then it was around $400 to $500 I believe. It has worked great, but like the others I don't think it looks that good. Seems to have faded thru the years and turned to a dull grey. It's better than a plastic liner or any do it yourself stuff.

For what it's worth, I haul the spray material into Line X - it all comes from BASF Urethane - so they use quality. I'm thinking of using Line X on my new one when it gets in.

Another question just popped into my iddy biddy brain.

Which is better - a spray on liner or the Dual Liner?? Any one piece molded plastic liner has always rusted underneath but the multi piece liner claims not to do that.

Opinions??????

Default Rhino lining

I just had my 2011 Line-x ed. $595 I have not seen the Rhino lining but I understand that it is much softer and less durable. The person who applied it did a nice job and it looks great. I would recommend the Line-x. There are not many Line-x dealers around. I'm on Long Island and there is one on the Island and two in Ct. My son had his truck done a few years back and had to travel from upstate ny to ct to have his done. It took about 4 hours by the time they prepped it, masked the whole truck, sprayed and reassembled the tailgate.

I have rhino liner...i love it. it was $400 to do my 08 F150 crew cab bed. i think it looks great, its holding up great too. if it starts to fade to grey (installer said it would take 2ish years) they can re-touch it with a rhino shine. you can find some pictures in my albums.
having said all of that, ive never had any contact with line-x. im sure its great stuff too. im just partial to rhino for price and lifetime warranty.
