Default rev limiter

i have a 2008 f150 XL 4.2L with a six inch suspension kit and it has 35x12.5x17 inch tires. i just bought a hypertech max energy programmer and want to adjust the rev limiter but i dont no what to do it to. It goes up by intervals of 100s like +100 +200 etc until +500 and then it goes to -500 and honestly i dont know what to do any advice would be appreciated thank you

no. you arent making power past the existing max adjusted rpm. actually, those big tires are killing your performance.

just sell the hypertech crap and get an SCT tuner. plug it in, follow the directions, go drive. its a vehicle, if you dont know what adjusting the RPMs will do, dont do it.
