should be in your owners manual, if you don't have one u'll have to go to the dealership and have them re-program you a new code

I just bought an 08 and it came with a 5 digit code and there is no way of changing it that I know of. I may be wrong but the way that I read it in the owners manual is that it has a factory code and that is the only way to have it. So I just memorized mine and didn't worry about making my own.

If original code wasn't provided, it should be on a label attached to the module. Question is, where is the module? Under the seat or behind the back seat. Good luck and tell us where it is at.

You need the original code to re program the keypad.
But you can add codes. The original is always gonna be there....it will be somewhere in vehicle...dealer will know where.

Most resposible owners and dealers put it in the manual folder which IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE TRUCK GUYS!
(Hey, keep your window sticker there, too...the next owner will be GLAD to know EXACTLY what the options are)
