Default Replacement keys for BoxLink Cleats

Anyone know where or how I can get one, or might have the same one as me that you could spare, or I could copy and return? There is a code on the lock face itself, looks like 505 or S05. I tried my local dealer and they were of no help at all. TIA!

I just checked my boxlink keys and they are stamped S01. The might be a member that has the S05 and they could make a copy and send you one. You might try posting in the thread for your year of truck. Good luck.

Default No Keys!

I just picked up my 2018 Lariat on Monday. In the craziness of all the paperwork and everything else I forgot to confirm that I had these keys. Well, I just made an appointment to get Line-X sprayed and they said the will take all that stuff off. If just occurred to me that I haven't seen those keys! I just went through truck and couldn't find anything. I text my salesperson and he said he'll grab some from another truck and mail them to me (I'm an hour away from where I bought the truck). I guess they're all universal?

No they are not. They are stamped with a number S01, S02, S03 and up. Each key is different. I would suggest to get the number off of your boxlink (It will match the key number) and then call your salesman back and have him send the corresponding keys that match.

Ya, I saw those numbers when I went out there and looked more closely. However, I FOUND THE KEYS!! They were in the glove box in an envelope that I didn't see at first. lol

Glad you found them. Sometimes getting a salesperson to follow thru is a big hassle once you have made the purchase.

My understanding, the blank uncut keys are all the same but the cut code on each key is different S01, S02, S03, and up use different cut codes . All boxlink keys that are cut will not fit all boxlinks, the key number has to match the number on your boxlink. All keys with S01 will fit S01 boxlinks, all S02 keys will fit S02 boxlinks, etc.

According to the eBay listing selling them:

Seller Notes:“We do not have all of the key codes so please ask first. They are new & will be Cut to your key code & ready to work !!”
