Default replacement key fob?

When I bought my truck it didn't cone with the key fob and was wondering if anyone knew of a website to buy them? I know the dealer does sell them but for a really steep price.

Ebay has them or you can search for keyless remote which brings up several sites. Did your truck come from the factory with RKE?

go back to the dealer and tell them you didnt get one and you need one. they should give you one for free. if they dont ask to speak to a manager. if its been more than a few days since you bought your truck you are probably SOL and have to buy one. x2 for ebay

Went and saw them today, its only like $35 for a used fob which ain't bad. I don't know the code for my outside door entry and wanted to get that done but that was like $50!

Programing a chipped key is even worse.

http://www.keyless-remotes.com.

I use this place. I always have the remotes breaking off the key ring when I put them in my pocket. They ship fast and the remotes work.

I use to sale Fords years ago back in Oklahoma before joining the Army. If you went to a dealership and they wanted to charge you for reprogramming the door then you need to go somewhere else. I forgot the procedure but its pretty easy to do. The programming of the key fobs is easy also, it takes all of about 30 seconds. You may be able to google the procedure or try a different salesman. I can see them charging you for a new fob but there is no reason for charging someone to program it. Thats just silly!

I totally agree, I don't see how they should charge for a 5 minute re-programming! Thanks for the help guys

I bought mine on ebay for around $32 for both. Programming them was simple.
