Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I just purchased a brand new F-150 XLT super crew 4x4. I had a remote car starter put on the Truck from the dealership. I have had the Truck for one week now,and the remote starter does not work. The dealership is puzzled why is does not work so they got in touch with Ford engineering,and they don't know why it does not work either. So the the dealership wants to take it out of the Truck and try to put it back in again to see if they missed something. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem as well. Thanks.

 

Mine has worked fine from day one.

Does it even try to start the truck? The reason I ask is on my old truck the remote starter had an issue where it would just turn the truck over but would not fire. The truck ran fine. Just wondering if it is the same problem.

 

Hi, when I got home with the truck I tried it,and it worked fine. But a couple of days later I wanted to show off a little to some buddy's and it would not start. So I went to the dealer, and they tried it. The first time it started,I thought what was I doing wrong, but when they tried again it did not start. So they brought it in and could not find the problem. They said they are puzzled they never had this problem before.
