I have a 2010 F150 Fx4 crew w/ all the options. Well I thought so anyway. I didnt know until reading some of these forums that there is a factory remote start option. Is there really a factory remote start option? If so, what can I do to get one? Is it worth getting the factory remote start or would it be smarter to go aftermarket? I want it!

 

The factory remote start option is for the 2011 models - for the 2010's the aftermarket would do better since it wouldn't be programmed to shut your truck off when you open a door

 

the factory one sucks ***. you gotta be so close to the vehicle. definately go aftermarket!
