Remote start
I have a 2018 Ford f150 sxt. I purchased a plug-in play for the Obd 2 it's just a straight plug and Play no extra wires no nothing. I had to have my oil change and they took it out to reset my oil alarm. Does anybody know why when I plug it back in it doesn't work and I have lost my instructions? I have looked everywhere please and thank you. It is a remote start x just to plug and Play no additional wires

Welcome to the forum. There was absolutely no need for them to even touch your OBD port setup to reset the oil light. All you have to do is hold the OK button while in the correct menu on the IPC. Sounds like they jacked up the programming of the remote start. Google some stuff or go watch the installation video for the Start X to get the programming done.
