Bought 2016 F150 XRT from used CAR dealership. Found a warning sticker on door post warning of remote starter. Two key fobs I was given are not remote start. Dealership was non-ford dealer and didn’t know anything about it. Anyway to check and see if it is installed?

Sounds like an aftermarket unit may have been installed. It may use the factory fobs. Try clicking lock 3 times and if that doesn't work try Lock-Unlock-Lock and see if it fires up.

crawl up under dash and look around. Likely east to spot if it is aftermarket and still installed.

Thanks for the tips!!! Clicked lock/unlock twice and started right up!!! Would have been nice to know a month ago!! 😂

at least you got 2 fobs... so grab a 3rd & 4th one to program. They are fairly inexpensive...about $55 each. Just read the SN on your current ones to match.
I also hate used car dealers that know nothing about what they are selling. Lots of farkels on the Gen 13... you can add a bunch too.
