Default Rear window leak

So I bought my first pickup truck a month and a half ago. brand new 2015 F-150 4WD XLT. I was pretty excited and happy but now I am trying to resolve problem #2 with the truck and I am much less excited and happy.
First issue was with the driver seat. The lumbar support was killing me because even when it was fully retracted it was still too aggressive for me.
I was able to fix that issue with some help from this forum.

Then, last night I take the truck through the car wash. I hear the sound of running water, but it sounds odd. I turn around and see a stream about the size of my finger running in right over the passenger side rear seat headrest. Continued to leak and pour in even when driving as the airflow pushed the water to the rear of the cab.
I read about the dreaded 3rd brake light leaks, but this is far to the right of the brake light. I know a leak is sometimes not in the location the water appears, but in this case, I believe it is. I examined the seal as much as you can see between the glass and the body, and I think they either started and stopped the bead in this location, or an air bubble broke through. Both stupid errors.
Either way, it goes back to the dealer tomorrow to see what is going on.
Hopefully it gets fixed and does not become a chronic problem, but I cringe when it comes to seal issues.
Anyone else have similar issues?

It should still be under warranty.

Three Ford Trucks, none of them ever had a leaking rear glass issue.

My 2011 sliding rear window leaked every time water touched it. I was told that was normal by the dealership. Hopefully your dealer's service department doesn't have a worthless sumbag running the department.

If I were to pay the price that new trucks cost I wouldn't accept the "every rear window" leaks story.

It's not normal and the sealant overlaps in a track so it has to be faulty install. Unless they changed it, the rear is actually held in with nuts and bolts which compresses the bead against body of truck.

It's this way on my 2007. I pulled the solid glass out of it about 6 months ago, and installed a manual slider. I used a new role of butyl and then installed.
Not a drop of water leaking.

My '13 leaked after the dealer replaced the rear window, under warranty, after the defroster stopped working. Brought it back and they removed and reinstalled the window. Since then, no leaks (knocking on wood).

Yep, did the same on my 10 a few months back. I installed it the night before we had a huge snowstorm and zero leakage. I did have 3rd brake light leak but no window leak on original or replaced window.

From a my perusing 3 of the F150 forums, it seems that he 2015's have the most issues with fitment/water leaking. Especially the moonroofs.

What's that old saying about "never buy the first model year of a vehicle"?
