Rear view mirror 2014 f150

Does anyone know how to remove the rear view mirror on a f150 2014 stx. My other cars had a screw you just loosened but not this one. I need to install an aftermarket backup camera.

When I had my windshield replaced it looked like they used a special tool to take it off and replace it.

welcome to the worst mounting design ever. Whoever came up with this should be shot. They sell a tool for it but there are other methods but regardless of what you use get a bible and pray you don't break the windsheild.

BTW there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THE MOUNTING METHOD FOR THE LAST MANY DECADES.
