Default Rear view mirror

Anyone know how to remove it from windshield? I had a tint stripe installed awhile back and it doesn't seem like they put it back on properly. It vibrates badly and it's loose. Was wondering if anyone knows how to so I can do it myself. Then put it on correctly.

the mounting pad for the rear view is glued to the windshield...don't try to take that off...trust me...you should be able to slide your mirrior up and off the pad...do not press towards the windshield while doing this...not sure ...there may be a set screw on the mirrior itself that can be tightened up. I was pressing my compass box back up and spidered my windshield...this is how I know the mounting pad is glued on...lol
