Rear bumper insert replacing
My friend has a 2016 King Ranch and managed to back into a post damaging the painted insert on the passenger side and the plastic top piece of the bumper. Has anyone done this and if so do you have a video or at least a blow by blow description of how to performe this job
I've done it - don't have either of the above but can tell you that it's not that difficult.
Unbolt the entire thing from the truck, take care with the wires and unplug all of them. 4 sensors, 2 license plate lights and trailer harness.
I did mine in the house on carpet but nothing was damaged and didn't want to scratch it.
Start unbolting everything and keep track of all the bolts and where they go - take pics and notes.
Swap the parts and put it back together.
Biggest thing is - there are a lot of bolts holding it together. It's time consuming but not hard to do.
