does anyone know the diameter of our antennas? I'm ordering a stubby one to replace the old wire one and I just want to be sure it fits. If not I'll just order it and replace it if its not right. Thanks in advance.

 

It should fit just fine. There's not much too 'em. Look one up at a parts store like NAPA or Autozone and you'll get the right one for like 10 bucks

 

Or put it a vise, spin off the little ball(ball in vise -wrench on antenna- it will come off), cut to new length, bevel end of antenna, press little ball back on.......
