Looking at at 2011 FX4 with eco boost...I am wondering what REAL changes happen on the 2012 model. I know of jump in fuel tank size, heated and cooled seats now on FX4....what else?? are the 20" painted wheels as a stand alone actually silver as they look on web, or are they the gray color like 2011 and also pictured in the new FX appearance package...slight increase in price but worth it for these upgrades and a year newer?? Also what is flow thru console??

 

the 20" standalone wheels are the gunmetal color they were in 2011. The painted black version are only available with the appearance package.

In terms of the FX4, i think you mentioned all the changes. Also, there is hill-start assist which prevents the truck from rolling back on a hill when towing or hauling.

It's the console with air conditioning vents for the rear seats on the back... thus, the a/c flows through the console.

I thought the 2011 FX4 also had hill assist and descent control?
