Rattling door panels
#11
Interesting. I posted the same question 6 hours before you. You rec'd 600 views to my 60 and you rec'd 9 responses to 0 for me. I must be doing something wrong.
Since I posted a friend came over and found the problem. The rear door does not latch properly. Open the front door and grab the rear door at the top or bottom and see if it moves. Do the same thing on the opposite side and see if there is a difference.
In my case it was the top latch inside the door. We stuck our fingers inside it and closed the 2 position latch. It only latched in the first position. Went to the opposite side and that latch closed properly in 2 positions.
Pulling on the door has the effect of the latch closing the door in the 2nd and final position to pull the door closed tight.
See if this is what has happened on your truck.
Next we have to figure out how to get the rear door panel off. The front was easy when I had to replace the outside mirror.
