Rattle noise
I purchased a new-to-me 2011 EB SCrew.
Every time I turned a corner or stopped rather quickly I heard some sort of rattle or a noise that sounded like a little light bulb that rolled around on a metal shelf that bumped into things. It drove me up the wall and I could stand it no more.
After a month I finally broke down and tore a few panels apart. I am amazed on how well Ford did do to secure the wiring. I found almost nothing except for a wire bundle an connector that moved and would it the metal part of the truck. It was on a connector clip that held in in place and wedged a piece of 1"x1" cardboard between the connector and the metal wall and did a test drive.....wall-la!!!! that was it.
This connector is on the drivers side, left hand, above the plastic removable kick plate where the hood release is, just behind the firewall but up there aways. I tried taking a photo and my phone does not show it adequately.
It goes to show you that sticking with the problem there has to be a solution.
