Random Newbie Questions

I have a 1998 F150 4x4 and was wondering what the cheapest and easiest route would be for a 3 inch lift and also will 33/12.50r17 fit stock or do I need a lift?

i wouldn't put the 33's on the truck stock. would probably rub on the fenders. a 3 inch will work, but maybe go 4 inch lift if possible.
