Default Rancho Quick Lift

Just gonna ask it, are Rancho Quicklift coilovers any good? The price is right, too right to what I'm accustomed to seeing.
Why is there two different PN's for right/left?
What did yours come set at, the 2.75" I've seen advertised?
How about reliability? If they're leakers or junk, I'd just as soon spend double and get some known good ones from Halo.

Can't say on durability, only been a week and only driven it once.

The spring is smaller in diameter than the stock springs, so that worries me a bit. They seem well constructed, but time will tell.

I had them on my 2012 for 6 years, no issues. They're not height adjustable, the advertised lift for mine was 2". I liked the adjustable shocks, but ultimately replaced my set up with Fox 2.0 all around because the matching rear RS9000XL's leaked on me twice. Great customer support, replaced them free of charge each time, but I just decided to upgrade again after the last leak.

Thanks for the reply. I keep looking at these, and wonder how you adjust them. Advertising may be confusing, and they're just talking about the adjustable damping, and not lift.
How much lift did you wind up with?

I got the advertised 2" from them. The adjustment is for the shock dampening & it's a **** you turn. Pretty easy to adjust. I left them at 3 around town because I liked the softer ride, when loaded with camping gear & traveling on the highway to the mountains, I'd put them all the way up to the highest setting, then back down to the softest for wheeling around dirt trails once I got up there.

As far as the part number, I called their support number & was told for my 2012 they were interchangeable.

Granted I had them on my ‘04, so it’s a little different, but they were alright. The adjustment didn’t seem to make any difference and at the time I lived in the south where we didn’t even get winter weather and they started rusting after a year. The corrosion got in the dial and I couldn’t adjust them after that. I know you live where it snows a lot, so something to consider.

John, that's what I've had since about 10K on my truck. No issues and I love them. Ran them on my '07 for many HARD miles. On the '07 I did have a spring sag on me, but they warrantied it. The adjustment is the dampening, and it does actually work when new. Can't say I've tried to change it once I originally set it at 5. My truck may be a little bit nose high, but I'm not 100% sure as I did not take before/after measurements, sometimes it looks dead level where other times it looks a little off but I think that's just angles. I can tell you I've put these through their paces on rough roads, intersection whoops (those tall intersections that get rowdy when you hit them at speed), speed bumps (most are actually smoother at 20-30mph, when there's nobody around), rock crawling, etc. They also feel a lot more planted than the factory struts. I'm a big fan.

Mine got a little tight to turn, searched the internet and found this, solved the problem, very easy to do.

Thanks guys, some good feedback. I may have figured out why the two different numbers for mine. Back in 2014, Ford changed the lower mount for the shock to a pinbar setup, instead of the thru bolt they used forever. The pinbar is angled off center, looking at the end, right side angled one way, left side the other. It's not too difficult to rotate it as needed, so I could be mistaken.
Great tip on greasing that adjustment ****.
Now, when I can find PN for a 2020, and if things are the same for a 2017, I think I'll get these on my '17, and change them out to my 2020 when I get it.
Taylor, for some reason I thought you had Fox 2.0's, oh dopey me.

The top mounts are in a different alignment for each side in relation to the angle of the lower bar and the adjustment **** from what I remember. There's a driver/passenger side. I did have the top mount of the driver's side slightly misaligned, but that was manageable. The hardest part was getting the old struts out, those pressed in studs don't want to drive out, and they're long enough to be a nightmare to remove without full disassembly of the front knuckle.

No sir. I heavily debated them or the Halo's, but opted to go for the Rancho's again due to price. That could be where you got mixed up, because I posted a good bit about my thoughts. These are loaded with new coils which makes them easier to deal with because you don't have to compress the springs in relation to Bilsteins.
