Hi, first off please pardon my ignorance. I'm not a mechanic and my automotive knowledge starts and ends with being able to do my own oil changes and rotate my own tires. Maybe I'm imagining things or just never noticed this before. I have a 2016 F-150 Crew Cab, does the radiator fan always turn or not? I popped my hood today to fill up my windshield wash, engine was running and the fans were not turning. Maybe this is normal and I've just never noticed it before. After 10 minutes the fans kicked in and then several minutes later shut off again. I don't want to flinch and bring it into the dealer for nothing but I don't want to blow my truck up either. Thanks in advance.

 

They are electric fans that turn on and off as engine needs cooling NORMAL
