Greetings Forum. Six questions and an opinion:
I paid $180.00 to recalibrate the camera system after the front glass was Fx. That a normal cost? Seems pricey to me. How do I know it’s been done correctly?
‘What was done when Ford “re-flashed” the computer for the trailer/tow system? How would I know it was done correctly?
What is the issue w the front windscreen wiper recall?
What is the small flat rubber pieced at the top-rear of cab on either side? They are peeling up apparently due wind while driving. Bad design!
At the dealer (vehicle is under warranty) this a.m. for work Incl. the replacement of the two plastic panels on the top of both doors. The dealership had me waiting 60 days for parts to come in. Service writer calls me from the waiting room telling me the work is complete. I look at both door trip pieces and the look exactly the same. The door & trim doesn’t lie flat in the door frame… I don’t have time to go back in so I leave. An hour later the service writer texts me stating the driver side was not done because they didn’t order the part with the button panel. However, the paperwork said all was complete. B.S.!
I’m pissed off as the dealership is ~40 miles each direction, I was given bad info., the wrong part was ordered, and the replaced (passenger side) part is just as I’ll fitting! Shame on Ford and this service Dept. and this service writer for lack of care and concern.

What is the small flat rubber pieced at the top-rear of cab on either side? They are peeling up apparently due wind while driving. Bad design! Just some trim stuff. They commonly flip up at the rear, but wind comes from the opposite direction, so unlikely wind lifted it. They just seem to get that way, but not normally on a new truck.

Hopefully you are able to let it go and get on with your life and not let it get you down for much longer.
Dealership probably didn't have you waiting 60 days, there was probably a 60 day wait.
