Default Question on leasing.

Hey everyone,
I'm curious as to what kind of mods you can do on a leased vehicle. Can you put different exhaust on them and lift kits?
Thanks for your input

They say you shouldn't modify at all. With that being said I had a leased truck with exhaust, lift, tires, programmer. All stuff I can take off.

they want the truck to be in almost the exact condition it was when you first took it off the lot. about 3 month before your lease is up a rep will come look at your vehicle and tell you what needs fixed, replaced, removed, etc etc etc

Check the rules. They have to come back in pristine condition unless you buy them outright. Check with another lease agency and ask that question!

I wouldn't put anything on a leased truck unless you want to pay the high purchase price at the end. Read your lease about any mod's to the truck. I was charged extra for having too many scratches in the bed area when I turned in my '97 F-150 year's ago. Had a picky inspector!

They really need to calll leaseing what it is "RENTAL" and ask yourself what are you going to add to a rental car? And the time and money to add anything then remove it to return it to the rental company...Rentals are not a good way to buy anything....
