I have a good source for LED lights of all kinds including every kind of bulb for cars and trucks, see below. The LED replacement bulbs for the back lighting on my instrument bezel are .79 cents each, great price. As you know LED's are a voltage sensitive device they have a narrow range of voltages in which they work, go high or low they do not light. With this in mind will the LED replacements work with the dimmer control for the dash lights.

It would be important to know that before installation.

Great Idea I'll look. I just realized I inserted the wrong link. The one above is to an outfit is Australia. The one I intended to list is this one, http://www.ledtronics.com/

Ok I posted the question about dimming an LED dash light and here is the answer to the question.

A single chip LED lamp, such as the LEDtronics wedge base WF200 or WF150 series lamps, have little or no capability of being dimmed. However,
depending on the existing dimming mechanism, you would have a much better chance of dimming the multi-chip wedge base LED lamps, such as the W206 or W156 lamps. Without going into technical paper terms, this basically has to do with the 'match' between the internal LED bulb/chip circuit in conjunction with the dimming system circuits

I guess I will install the Phillips long life incandescent bulbs.
