Default question about gotts mod

ive got my pvc pipe all ground down so that it fits in the hole, now when you put it in should it hang over the second hole it goes in through the fenderwall? is it ok to be a little short? or does it matter?

I didn't realize that there was a second hole, I just put it in there and that was it.

Measure your stock inlet tube against your pvc and see if there is a difference in what goes in the first hole, if the stock tube is longer than I would say make a bigger pvc pipe.
