Question about Eco boost bumper
I bought a f-150 back in 2012 that had rear ended another car when someone was test driving it. Long story short, I got a good deal on it but I noticed something when I started driving it and totally forgot about following up on it until now (stupid, I know). There was cosmetic damage to the front bumper and the Lexus dealership I bought it from had done all the repairs and then had a ford dealership check everything over to make sure all was good. I have the paperwork from the ford dealership showing it was checked over by ford. My question, my front bumper isn't the Eco-boost bumper, it has the license plate in the middle. Can any harm to the engine come from this? I've been driving it for coming up on 2 years with no issues. I was just curious.
Fully blocked is probably not a good idea. But the good news is that it's not the bumper that's different, just the plate mount's location. You can get a the side mount kit from TASCA. Or somewhere like here:
