Default Question about conversion

I am tired of breaking CV joints, so I bought a DANA 44 high pinion front end. I was wondering if my factory drive shaft was going to mount straight up, or if I was going to have to do some work on it. Also, knowing that the E4OD trans has a lot of problems, what is a good rebuild kit to buy for it (being as I have already bought one new one and don't want to do that again)

It's a 98, but I'm HARD on it. I only for offroading, and anything else I don't want to mess up my new truck with.
