Default Question about Battery

I have 2018 platinum with auto start stop. I plan on upgrading my system and will be replacing my battery with a xs d2700 battery as suggested by installer. I was wondering will this affect with the auto start/stop that our current batteries are built on. I ask because when i look up our battery BAGM-94RH7-800 it says with auto stop-go. I really dont know how all of that works and trying to get info. Thanks in advance. The total system will be around 3000 total amps. (Tweets, mid range, mid bass, coaxial rears and 2 subs) I doubt i will max anything out on volume mostly sound quality build.

cdjocp,

You mean 3000 Watts, I assume. That is one hell of a lot! Ya sure it wasn't 300 W? Ether one, you will be lucky to jam it for long without the engine on if you crank it. Reports of guys jamming while detailing (engine off) drained the OE AGM batt (absorbed glass mat). The Start/Stop is taxing on the engine starter, alternator, and the batt. When you go larger in Cold Cranking Amps (CCA), you will have more current available for that woofin' stereo. Turning off Start/Stop would be my recommendation if you are pumping the jams; otherwise, you might see the engine die at a stop light due to insufficient current. You will get a msg like: Put veh in N or P and re-start... I unplugged my Start/Stop and never looked back. When my batt dies, I will get a much larger one. For your app, I would shoot for the biggest CCA AGM batt I could fit in the tray. The LA lowriders with hydraulics and woofin' stereos use 2 batts, an HD alternator, and sometimes electrolytic capacitor bank to keep up with the demand of pumps/amplifiers/lights. Go to low-rider and audio forums; somebody probably put a woofin' stereo in an F150 and is crying about how his battery or amp pukes when you crank it.
Somebody resets the BMS after batt replacement and your sys will be happy,

my 2 cents
