Define "best".

The responses you get to this will be very subjective and based on the posters personal taste. Do you want loud? A little growl? etc?

Youtube will have many examples if you would like to hear them.

Once again, this is a very open question. Single in, dual outs? True duals, cat backs?

Based on your desires for a little loud and a bit of growl: 50 series.

I too am wanting to replace the factory exhaust. I want some growl but don't want it to be overbearing when driving long stretches on the highway. My 2006 has a single exhaust on the passenger side. I like the dual exhaust, but can't decide whether side or rear? Any ideas on cost? Thanx-

I jet got an estimate of $400 for either a Magnaflow or Flowmaster. Either a dual coming out the back or side. I explained I want it loud but not overbearing at highway speed and they suggested Magnaflow. Any thoughts? Thanks-

I agree with them on the Magnaflow. It will be quieter on the highway and have less drone, but still sound powerful on acceleration.

Thanks- that's what I wanted to hear. I just stopped by another performance muffler shop and the guy told me the exact same thing, and quoted me $50 less than the other place.

The Magnaflow is a fine muffler, with no drone at speed. However, I did find that it got louder with age. But, this one was on my Lightning. That could make a difference.

I found the Flowmaster (not the 50 series mentioned) did have a noticable drone at speed on my '86 Lariat.
