Default Push button ignition

I have a push button ignition in my 1990 f150 and I don't think it's wired properly. It will start the truck, but after it warms up and you turn off the ignition it will not start again. It drains the battery. The odd thing is if I let it sit for a while it will start right up again. Does anyone know how to properly wire a push button ignition?

Thanks for the reply. I did a search but couldn't find anything. I've never used a forum like this, should I have done an intro?

If you want to, its just a good way for people to get to know you a little.

try this thread, and check out the links I posted to www.dakota-durango.com, even though its for daks, the basic wiring should be the same.
