Default Purchasing Help

Hi All,

I started looking at used F150's, but then realized that it might be more economical to get a new truck, especially with the better gas mileage.

Here's my master plan: I'd like to get an SuperCab 4x4 XL, very base model. I'm hoping that with a combination of incentives, and the X-Plan (have a friend that works at Ford), I will be able to get the price down to around $22k. Do you think this is possible? What if I found a STX or XLT '10 model, would they discount that less than invoice price?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

-Mike

They won't loose money on any vehicle even last years, even dealer demo models. However check Ford site to see what incentives are in your area. For us its 4k on XLTs. If you get the code from your friend, Ford has an X-plan site that will allow you to search dealer inventory and it will display the x-plan price of the dealer inventory.
