Pulstar Plugs

Pulstar Plugs
I ran across an article in Popular Mechanics the other day on Pulstar Pulse Plugs.

I was wondering if any of you have ever tried them. It would be interesting to know how well they really work. I have a 2000 F150 with a 5.4L. At $25 a piece, and $100 labor to change plugs, I'm not quite ready to make the "investment". I actually am getting new plugs next week, but I opted to stick with the suggested Autolite OE replacements at this point.
I've considered getting a set of Pulstar Plugs for my wife's Civic since I'll only need half the plugs and I can swap them out in about 5 minutes! But that's still $100 on for all I can tell may be just a gimmic. (A very expensive gimmic perhaps). I don't know, maybe they're the best thing since sliced bread!
