Pulled over by Campus Police at MS State.
Hey guys,
So last week I got pulled over at Mississippi state my school, b/c my "white" lights appeared blue to the officer. And I suppose they do any way my question is what amber or white colors do you guys use? I have the diode dynamics rgb and I have the WiFi controller. Does this look like amber? I also went to my local highway patrol office and they said either run amber or turn them off. As of right now they are off. I am using the diode dynamics WiFi controller color ring.

Lucky for you he didn't issue a ticket. If you didn't know before that you were playing with fire, now you know.
Not to sound high and mighty, I have been pulled over (and ticketed) for illegal modifications more times than I can count. Fix it tickets are the worst! Especially for window tint (been there done that).
If getting pulled over and ticketed on occasion is not an option for you, better go back to stock.

You can look-up your states lighting laws online, I forget the website at the moment. I visited it at one point to see what the law regarding HIDS in reflecter housings is in Louisiana, for a friend who swore it was illegal and his State police neighbor said it wasn't.
In most states Blue is illegal, since that is reserved for Law enforcement Nation wide, Amber and red are usually fine, as long as they are not strobe, typically amber and red strobes are reserved for Emergency vehicles. Just do a little research, some are written very clearly, some need some translation, someone in MSUs Law department might help you out too.
