THis morning was pulled over for having my rear lights on. i forgot they were on and I got a warning. The cop was very nice about it. anyone else get pulled over recently an what for?

 

your rear lights? do you have rear back up lights installed?

 

well yes and no, they are turned on by a switch, i just forgot i had them on. i use them to back up cause my windows are tinted and tough to see along with tinted tails.

 

are your windows factory tinted?

 

yes fac tint but its pretty dark

 

"RELAY! On with reverse lights" (and you can put a switch to em too but that wouldn't help ya in this case, but you also wouldn't leave em on after ya back up with em if they were on a relay with the reverse lights as a trigger)... Or ground the lighted switch so when it's on the switch is lit and you'll know from inside... or you can reverse those so it's on when the lights are off too...

 

good ideas, i was just stupid cause i drilled in the dash board to mount the switch this morning before work and just forgot to turn them off, im using a different switch that doesnt light up so i just need to be on top of it when they are on or off

 

yeah make sure ya check em, the cop'll only let that fly once I'm sure... surcharges suck...

 

I unfortunately just received a DUI about 300 yards from my driveway. The cop followed me from the bar down the street and pulled me for no legit reason. South Carolina DUI policies are too harsh. I had 4 beers. Anyone ever get drunk off of 4 beers?
