problem with 2008 steering hard

can anyone help me i am having a problem with power steering on my 150 steering hard and can't tell if it is the pump or the rack..

Start with lubing the U-joints in the steering shaft with some penetrating oil.

Thank you it steers fine on the road to one side or the other but but then it gets hard to turn

Going thru the same problem right now. Temporarily lubed the u joint until I replace lower shaft. Pump was fine. Unless you hear a straining sound when you turn the wheels pump should be fine.
